Ysgol Hafod Lon is a school for learners aged 3-19 with a wide range of additional learning needs. We are based in Minffordd, Meirionnydd where we are extremely lucky to be able to take advantage of the special local area that surrounds us to provide unique and exciting learning experiences for our learners. Our school is purposeful, with staff members specially trained to provide a positive, supportive environment to meet the social, emotional, educational and physical needs of all our pupils.

At Ysgol Hafod Lon we aim to promote an inclusive, ambitious and creative learning environment where children can learn and thrive, and develop into respectful independent communicators.  We believe in the potential of all our learners and we have high expectations of everyone who is part of our school community.

Our school is a community in itself, as well as being part of the wider local community of Dwyfor and Meirionnydd. Parents and carers are an essential part of that community and we pride ourselves on fostering close relationships with families to support our pupils at home as well as at school. We also aim to create a warm and welcoming environment for children and staff, parents, professionals and visitors who visit Ysgol Hafod Lon.
