Y Cob

Welcome to Y Cob class. In our class we follow the experimental pathway where we focus on early intervention skills while also ensuring that we give our pupils as many valuable experiences as possible. The class staff are very keen to create a positive relationship and atmosphere. We place great emphasis on getting to know our pupils; their personality, favorite things and everything that makes them unique and special in their own way. Promoting communication skills is at the root and is emphasized in everything we do. Ensuring that the pupils learn through fun and being happy is a strong priority for us. We offer a large number of lessons that explore the senses and include a large number of practical opportunities for them to practice their skills. We pay particular attention to developing bespoke individual skills for our learners on a 1:1 basis building on them constantly and gradually so that this gives them the opportunity to generalize their skills before applying them in a variety of experiences, inside, outside, in the community and beyond.
